Farewell SA from Derrick, Rose and Emily.

I hear this song in my head at the moment "and now the end is near and I must face the final curtain, my friends la, la, la, la etc etc" anyway yes it is our final few days before we leave for greener pastures. We only managed to see Karen and Maria while we were here of ex-prem days and of course Gwen but that goes without saying - it would have been nice to catch up with a few other ex premiers but I guess it just did not happen, anyway hopefully we will be back for a holiday in 2009 and see you then, otherwise you guys know where we live come and visit.

So what was up with Ireland almost beating South Africa yesterday in the warm ups, oh my goodness I just hope South Africa are going to play better cricket in the next couple of weeks, else I am just going to have to support Ireland ;-)

HEIA Safari Ranch - Sunday 1st of April 2007

Hi Everyone,





I am arranging a get together at the Heia Safari Ranch on Sunday the 1st of April 2007, here is their website http://www.heia-safari.co.za/ which has the directions and the menu and everything else on it, it is situated near Lanseria airport.

I have contacted them but will need to book in advance, they do a BBQ or Braai on a Sunday round the pool area, Lunch is served from 12:30 to 14:00 and costs R80.00 per head. They have a childrens Menu, which is seperate, however they do need a minimum of 30 people in order for me to book.

I would be grateful if you would let me know if you would like to join us, in the event that it should rain they will move us inside to the restaurant.

They also have a really nice play area for kids and the zebra and giraffe walk around the area.

Please let me know asap if you would like to come.
